The Problem Child Nitro Funny Car is a new venture for Eddie Knox Racing and Morris Family Racing. The duo saw a lot of success in both the sand drags and drag boats and moved over to the asphalt in 2018 for a new challenge. The team made a lot of progress in their debut season which included Rookie of the Year honors for driver Billy Morris. In 2019, the team earned two #1 qualifiers, set the track record in Seattle with a 5.592 elapsed time, and made their first final round appearance.

The Problem Child Top Fuel Hydro was a product of the partnership between Eddie Knox and Larry Bless. They were highly successful, including winning the 2006, 2011, 2012 and 2013 World Championships as well as breaking the e.t. and mph world records multiple times at both a quarter-mile and 1,000 feet.

“Fast” Eddie Knox began his career in the sport of drag boat racing in 1989 behind the wheel of his own machine. Eddie studied and learned the art of engine-tuning and progressed to championship status quickly. Eddie has been a part of seven world championships, six runner-up championships, 60+ national event wins and world records in every pro category he has been involved in. These accomplishments have come from all facets of the drag boat racing world; an owner, a driver, and a crew chief. His “Problem Child” drag boat is known the world over for its consistent, record-setting performance.
